It’s that time of year.  The harvesters are harvesting, and the seasons will soon turn.

Back in 1970 The Band paid homage to farmers everywhere and recorded their great song King Harvest (Has Surely Come) on their first album.  Check out The Band performing the song in 1970 at Robbie Robertson’s studio in Woodstock.  Robertson’s solo at the end is alone worth your time, but before that Richard Manuel and Levon Helm send this song to heaven.
